Palmer Lake Tour - October 11, 2020
The Pikes Peak Model A Ford Club (PPMAFC) joined with the VMCCA to tour the Palmer Lake area. The tour started at Rampart Supply and finished at Brakeman's Burgers (the old Giuseppe's Depot). The PPMAFC had 10 Model A's participating with 16 members and 3 guests. The tour lasted approximately 80 minutes and covered over 15 miles. A definite adventure to keep this number of automobiles together. After the tour, we ate lunch to celebrate the outing. At lunch, we visited with old, and now new, friends. There was a car show to show off our rides. A great time was had by all.
Prizes were awarded for the most vintage and best in show automobiles. The most vintage automobile was Clay Whitney for his 1917 Model T. The best in show was Weldon Shaver for his 1932 Chevrolet Roadster.
Many thanks to Rampart Supply, Brakeman's Burgers, the organizers and the participants for a great Tour.
